I am am taking an On-line AutoCAD course. However, I have not been able to figure out how to either insert or create Arrowheads for Cutting Plane Lines. If someone could help. I would greatly appreciate it.

There's no automatic way to create cutting line arrow heads. So, you are probably best working manually. The best way to do this is to use poly lines and change the line width between pick points. Start with a width of 0 for the point of the arrow and then change the width to say 10 or 20 (depends on scale) and then pick the point at the base of the arrow head. Set width back to 0 and pick the base of the arrow head a second time then continue with your line. Use this process in reverse when you reach the arrow head at the other end.

I use this to teach my Higher Graphics class at my school.

Draw a polyline, click the start point then type W and change the starting width (point) to 0 then ending width to 1mm, then finish the arrow head (wide bit).

This works and plots/prints perfectly to A3 paper, on my HP 1120c.

I explode a dimension, then I delete all unwanted things (lines, text) and I apply a scale factor of 1.25 . The arrow is ready to use. But you may convert it to block and save it for future. The text may be an attribute, so you can change it easy, at every insertion.
It's nice to be nice, but sometimes is nicer to be evil!.

i also use a polyline a and then go into your change properties bar.

    ddchprop, is the typed command.

change the start width to 0, and then end width to 1, or whatever looks good depending on scale.

this to me is the easiest way of drawing an arrow.
