Yes.. I am talking about appearance of the material.

Stainless is one of the hardest materials to get right. Reflections, polish, color etc all vary with lighting, environment etc.

I've never found a bit map that works well. This was done in a stand alone renderer I was trying. 'bout the best I've ever gotten but it still has issues on certain planes. -David

I too have to create stainless steel, for pipework. Did you manage to get any closer to the real thing?

This setting is good for night scene!
For day scene you need to adjust material color black to gray!
