Same set up different results from project templates

I have two projects setup that I use for templates when you create a new project:

One (24x36) works perfectly by setting up sheets in the newly created project.

The other one (30x42) sets up the sheets in the original template file - not the new one.

Here are the setups for each, what am I missing?

is it pulling your sheet templates from the same file? and are both the 24X36 and 30X42 in that same dwt file?

No each set has its own dwt template

have you tried creating a new sheet set to make sure it is pulling from the right template? I suspect that you created the 30X42 project template first? Is that a right assumption? sorry for so many questions, just trying to help get to the bottom of your prob.
