    Default turn off filtered layers

Is there an easy way to turn off or isolate selected layers with the filter command?

I know i can do basically the same thing with the property filter in the layer manager, but it less of a hassle with one time commands or specific filters...

    thanks

    after filter or layiso,
select 'turn off layer' from toolbar (layers II) & select object : 'all' should work the trick
