I never have given up, but after weeks of trying to figure out how to get them back, I have not been able and now I ask, HOW DO I GET THIS BACk?

It is the menu bar with the tabs above the command line which you turn on and off and reference line weight.

The Drawing status bar is above the command line, and the application status bar is below the command line (by default). The application status bar contains the SNAP, GRID, ORTHO, etc. buttons.

Do you have CLEANSCREEN enabled? This will hide these buttons.

They can also be turned on/off individually using this menu in the lower right corner.

It's not the blue icon, it's the tiny black triangle.

The blue icon is CLEANSCREEN.

the triangle only gives me three choices auotscaling visible annotation & annotatiopn scale

LT must be different then, and I don't have a copy of LT at the moment at which to look.

Hello! I too have autocad Lt and my osnap, ortho, etc option keys have gone missing from my application status bar! The only thing that displays there now is annotation scale. If I click on the black arrow, I only get three options - all dealing with scale. Has anyone figured out how to get them back? FYI, I am running it on windows 7. It was working for a while and then vanished all of a sudden. If I am unable to get these buttons back, how can I enable ortho and osnap? Is there another shortcut? I cannot seem to find ortho anywhere. I don't know how to turn it off. Many thanks!

Thanks for your response. Now I have an even dumber question. Because I am working on a laptop, when I hit F3, my computer displays my battery life. Do you know how to disable that to get ortho/osnap to work? Many thanks again!
