Hi. I am trying to extrude and rotate a region. the region is a bike chain link that needs to be extruded 100mm and rotated 90 degrees at the same time. the final result is somewhat of a spiral. the solid is then to be subtracted from a block leaving an oppening. the block is a magazine which dispencess the links. Please help.

Well, you really have to post up an image to help us understand what you need to do.

Yes, please show us an image of what you are trying to do. As a cyclist I cannot see what you are trying to do (I could just be missing it totallyOriginally Posted by K.Delchev

I posted a routine in the AutoLisp section. It is not exactly what you wish; it will generate a surface, not a solid.
Your question is similar with this one:http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=340
maybe you will wish to check it.
Maybe sometime I will write a routine for solids...
It's nice to be nice, but sometimes is nicer to be evil!.
