Primal Scientist Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Hi All How do I go about importing a CAD Drawing in to Microsoft Word? I am sure I have done this before but I cant remember how to do it?? I click on 'Insert' and browse to my Drawing but it is olny showing a very small part of the drawing. Can anyone help?? eldon Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 The best way to import a drawing into Word is using WMFOUT or export. Get the drawing up on the screen and zoom to what you want to see. Then WMFOUT, and when it says select objects, type "all" (it works like a screen grab). In Word, insert the WMF file into a document as a picture file. Right click inside the image and select UNGROUP. Then you can select a line thickness (Line style in Word), I usually pick 3/4 pt. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
