Default Civil 3D 2008 Track Coordinates

When using the Track Coordinates dialog to display the latitude and longitude of the cursor, results are only displayed when the cursor is within the margins of the paper size selected and a value of 0,0 is always set for the bottom left corner of the margin. Is this the expected output? Doesn't seem very useful.
