Navisworks Materials

We are using an OS tile in autocad to create a 3D model, we are simply extruding the buildings as a block. we are then importing the drawing into Navisworks and applying materials to the block. The material however only appears correctly on the top of the block and appears stretched on the sides. This is obviously a problem when wanting to apply bricks to a block. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to make the material appear as it should on all faces?

I realise this is an old thread, but for anyone else looking for a solution to this, the effect described is controlled by the 'Material Mapping'. See link below:
