shift1313 Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Is the "No External Reference" option only from prt to prt external to an assembly, or does it apply when you use the convert entities button as well? This is how I have done it and it seems to work but I want to make sure i am not creating more issues for myself down the road. Also im a bit confused as to why sometimes my converted entities will attach to the referenced part, and sometimes they dont. I have drawn parts where i used referenced bolt holes, and in the assembly if i move one part, the holes stay with the original. Other times this is not so. Can anyone clarify the correct method for converting or projecting geometry such as bolt holes onto another part in an assembly file because im not sure what I have done in the past when it was wrong and id like to sort it out before i have a real issue with it:) thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
