neilma
Can this be done? I currently use Inventor 2009 and have a client that wishes to view and use my models. My client uses Solidworks (latest version I think?). Should I supply my ipt and iam files or convert them to something like igs or step? Your answers are appreciated. JD Mather
I don't have SWx 2009 to test, but if you save as STEP you can be sure. There is no advantage to them opening native Inventor files even if they can - feature tree and assembly constraints will be lost.
