Default Linking Text in AutoCAD 2005

Is there a way to "link" text in AutoCAD, meaning, if I have an area where I type in "ABCD" but want that to show up in our areas of my drawing. Can that be done. The kink is I need some of these "link" to have different sizes or fonts in need be. And if this is possible with attributes in blocks that would be great too.

Try to keep from entrying in the same thing 8 or 9 times in a drawing.
