TheNewGuy
I am trying to find a way to make a hole placed at an angle and have it appear realalistic.( see attached) The problem is that when I subtract the extruded circle from the polyline shape, the polyline shape is modified and I loose the ability to designate a different color for the hole. the colors help to make things easier to understand in 2D. Is there a simple way to achieve this? Thaks for any help.(It may help to view my upload with shade enabled to see what I want) Also I am using AC 2002. front guideway test.dwg
czc
If you just want to colour the face of the hole you can use the option colour faces. Solidedit face color. It's in the solids editing menu. Activate it, select your face(inside of your hole) and choose the layer(Bylayer) or color.
