i have a file that has a million (literally one million) points and i need to make a solid part out of this.

we had a radome (nose cone of an airplane) laser scanned, now i need to make a solid so that i can make a tool. but i am stuck i don't know how to get from the points to a solid. i have done smaller parts before with about 500 points but they were simpler parts that i could take a couple areas and make a pline and them loft them together but that just isnt possible for this one

does anyone have any ideas

ps i have autocad 2008 and inventor 08

Is this made out of polylines? A picture would be helpful.
