how to set wheel on mouse to zoom

Just type it in the command line MBUTTONPAN

 

the command line will ask

 

Enter new value for MBUTTONPAN - type in 1

it was already set to 1

 

i changed it to 0, no change

then changed it back to 1, still no change

 

thanks for the help, Got any more ideas?

It may be a setting in your mouse's software. I have a Logitech and I needed to set the wheel to 'Middle button' to get it to zoom properly.

Logitech mouse does indeed to reset 'Middle Button' to get it to zoom.

 

Most mouse software permits you to reset buttons; i.e.: right, left, middle and more depending on your mouse.
