td88
I'm about to start using xrefs a lot and have never used them before. What 's the procedure for sending as an email attachment. Can it be done with Acad 2006 LT and what do I send? Get ready for td88's question volume to increase significantly. Thanks, td88
Cad64
For sending files you should use the ETRANSMIT command. I believe this command is available in LT.
td88
Cad64, Thank you, I didn't know that existed. I think I follow what etransmit is doing on my end, however, the people I may be sending it to will have Autocad but, will be far less experienced with Acad than I am. What will they be expected to do with the file on their end? Can they place the received group of files wherever they wish or must they recreate every file and folder mentioned in the path? td88
Cad64
All they have to do is Extract the zipped files to a folder. It's all automatic.
