Change column and beam sizes in Architecture 2009

Well this might be pretty lame, but I just started using architecture and I'm trying to use the columns and beams from the desing panel but it creates a 30x30 object and I can't find a way to resize it (make it 20x30 or 40x30, like that).

Open Structural Member Style Wizard and create your own column or beam.

 

Just type memberstylewizard at the command prompt and follow the steps in the dialog box.

 

After you have created a new style, change the style in properties.

you can also open the structural styles catalog for industry standard items such as wide flange beams, pipe columns and steel angles as well as a full list of lumber and manufactured lumber products such as i-joists.
