matt4
Can anyone tell me where the gouraud shading option is in autocad 2008 or a command I can use to gouraud shade? Thanks

matt4
hi, Is there anyway to shade the component only? When I gouraud shade using the option it shades the component correctly but the background grey. Thanks,
Lee Mac
I suppose you could use a viewport to show different shades? Is that possible..
matt4
Yes, It's possible but I don't know if its permitted in my work.

matt4
Can't see gouraud shading there? Is it possible to change colours of the shading? For example on this component I cannot see the cylinder correctly so it would be best for the cylinder to be silver and the background to untouched (not silver). Can that only be done through a viewport?
JD Mather
You are seeing the background as color set in Options. The color was changed in r2007 but the method to change has been the same as far back as I can remember. CAD 101. Did you try changing it to black or white? matt4
Hi, I cannot find these selections. Can you post a screenshot or something of where the options are to change the colour is? Thanks
