    Default Importing Excel File And Using Data Diractly

    hi all genious ppl.. i want points from excel sheet to have a curve in auto cad ..bt i dont want to type those pts each time as the quantity is very big....so can i import the data directly in auto cad and get a spline curve

    You can copy coordinates from Excel, paste them into AutoCAD's command line for input to a comman.
    In Excel, get the coordinates into a single colimn, with a formula like:
    =A1&","&B1

    which creates a coordinate in "x,y" format. Create column of coordinates by copying formula.

    in Autocad start the "pline" command. When prompted for a point, paste the column of coordinate data. End the pline command. "pedit" "spline" if desired.

    Similar approach using "spline" command.

    i m not getting exactly wat u r trying to say.. i put that formula in excel bt it doesnt work.. so if u give me ur mailid i will send u the points , plz if possible do the exact changes and reply me back on my mail id
