Copying/Pasting with a displacement

Is it possible to copy/paste with a displacement in autocad 2008? Also how can you specify the direction? Such as x or y?

I know you got your answer but for anyone else that is doing a search for this i can do my best to explain.
In 2008:
If you are copying an object in side a drawing. Use the copy command, then select an object (or multiple objects) and hit enter. The command line will now ask for a first point or displacement. If you type in coordinates like "21,32" then hit enter twice it will make a copy of the object 21 units on the x axis and 32 units on the y axis up and to the right.

If you are copying an object into another drawing then the command you want to use is "copybase". when you type that into the command line it will ask you for a base point. The easiest point to use is "0,0". Then if you change into your new drawing and paste it will ask you for an insertion point. If you use "0,0" it will place it exactly where it is on the other drawing. but if you used "21,32" then hit enter it will place the object 21 units on the x axis and 32 units on the y axis up and to the right.

Sometimes I cheat and with my "ORTHO" tool on I can move the object I am copying either on the "X" or "Y" axis and just enter the remaining axis distance, might save you time.
