    Default Help, I can't create 3D rods

    Hi All,

I'm used to a few other packages but am currently working on a 3D AutoCAD project.

I can't seem to create a rod with a bend in it in solid or surfaces, with the systems I'm more familiar with you create a path and select it as a pipe routing giving the radius at each end. I can use the cylinder command to create straight rods, however i need to create a few with a number of bends in.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    Quick and dirty:

Draw your path using the POLYLINE command.
Draw a circle representing your pipe.
Rotate the circle so that it's perpendicular to one end of the path using the 3dROTATE command.
EXTRUDE the circle along the PATH.
