Sketching an image

Is there any function in autocad that I can insert a hand drawn image and have autocad sketcth or trace it, I have seen this in a different program wher you can basically hand draw a floor plan scan it in and have the program trace it.

Believe it or not the SKETCH command allows you to freehand sketch - manually that is. But all this command does is create line segments based on your "pen" movements, it doesn't sound like what you are after.

No, there is no such command in Autocad.

 

You could use a program like Adobe Illustrator to do this, but the file it produces requires a lot of fixing in Autocad afterwards. You're better off just inserting the image into Autocad and then trace over it.

Hello,

 

I like to add parenthesis or any symbols into several several texts in auto cad by using find and replace command. how can I do that. or any other command or lisp program can do that.
