RyanAtNelco
Hello Everyone, In the past week i have been seeing some major performance issues with my autocad program. Things like switching between layouts and opening the layer or properties menu are causing the program to pause for 5-10 seconds. This isn't much alone but it seems to be happening more and more. Once a minute or two I am doing some command that causes me to wait for a response. Is there a cache file or something of that nature that I can clear out to increase performance? Any idea's would be greatly appreciated as I am not the only one in my office having this problem. Thanks!
ReMark
Take a look at the bottom of this page. See where it says Similar Threads? Check out the AutoCAD 2009: Slow Performance Issues thread. You are not the first to question the operational speed of AutoCAD. By the way, what OS are you running?

ReMark
I live closer to you than I work. From my house, near Hartford, Boston can be reached in a little under two hours on a good day. From where I work I'd have to add another hour.
