Is there a standard for foundation bolts i need to follow? Example if im using M16 foundation holes, does the standard have a min/max length of bolt?

Ive googled 'foundation hole standards' and got nothing of any use, infact the first site was a golfing site lol

The most comon types of m16 concrete fixings we use are

M16 X 190 Resin Anchors (used with hit resin)

M16 X 160 Anchor Rods (thru bolts)

If the bolts are to be cast in to the foundation, they are typically (but not always) grade 4.6 (as opposed to grade 8.8 for general steel to steel connections) I have more info if you need it, what is it you are proposing to fix down?

If, like steve says, you are using an 'aftermarket' (drill and fix) fixing, try hilti or rawlplug websites.

Hilti anchors are used in numerous applications.

UBC (uniform building code) 1997, seismic zone 4.

IBC (international building code).

CBC (California building code) in California, USA siesmic zones.

Hilti anchors can be downloaded on their web site. The *.dwg files somewhat less detail than you might like but, easy enough for illustration purposes.
