I am running autocad 2000 on my system and every time i open a drawing from another source i lose all my printer settings. I can switch it back with the previous plot box but when you are printing loads of drawings this gets to be a pain. Can I change my system to always use the same settings?

When you set up your plotter you select the "Use as default output device option".This means you are setting the plotter to be the default plotter for all new drawings, thus all the drawings you open that are default to "None" were created before you set the new default device.Don't know if theres a way to get round it though,I've run into the same problem quite a few times to.
