    Use Mtext & Choose 'above Left/middle/right Or Belowleft/middle Right' Justification As Per The Situation & Give Before Spacing In Apragraph Setting In Mtext Editor To Achieve Wht U R Asking

    I would use the "snap from" option of the object snaps.

    I'm not 100% sure with LT, but what happens if you type "mtext", then "from" ?

    Sorry if I led you down the wrong way if LT doesnt have this capability

    yes that works thanks, a little long winded but it does work, "mtext" then "from" click basepoint then input offset
