Default Background tiff files do not show up in PDF

    Hi guys,
I have been plotting directly to Adobe PDF through AutoCAD Civil 3d with pretty good success. For some reason though, background, grey scale TIFF images only show up in about 70% of the plots. In the preview window they are there, but they don't seem to make it beyond that point.
    Any thoughts?

FYI: the link to PDF to TIFF is a buy-product with a free trial that you can download.
