I dont need the holes just the shape, im using real measurements. Is splines the way to go? Im not used them much at all. Cad64 Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Yes, you could use splines in Max, but I generally draw 2D shapes like this in Autocad and then Import them into Max and Extrude. Trying to keep triangle count to a minimum for use in my application after max. i.e models will have no internels. For some reason i thought perhaps creating a model in max would be a way to save model size. I find splines quite inacurrate the majority of the time!
