How to show hidden lines of a 3d model.

I made a tool for my company in 3D. Now i want to take its print in different views in 2d mode.

 

But i am unable to set their hidden line.

 

how to show it..

 

Pls help me.

I use DXB plotting for this type of work.

  • Configure a DXB plotter - See attached
  • Setup the view you want
  • Plot 2 files with different names, 1 with hidden lines ON , 1 with hidden lines OFF
  • Make a new layer
  • Set LTYPE to HIDDEN
  • I set CECOLOR to 8
  • DXBIN the plot file with hidden lines OFF
  • Set LTYPE to CONTINUOUS or BYLAYER
  • I set CECOLOR to 4
  • DXBIN the plot file with hidden line ON
  • I set CECOLOR back to BYLAYER

No. its difficult to do it... for me...

but sir, i request you to do it withing modeling area. not in plot area.

 

i did not find my answer yet................

any one help me...

Checkout OBSCUREDLTYPE and OBSCUREDCOLOR.
