    Default line type differs when xref'd

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    I have a drawing of a building. It contains a few dashed lines. When I xref this drawing into another, these lines come out as solid lines. This is the case even when I zoom in on them. When I open the xref within the drawing they appear as dashed lines again. Any ideas why?

    I'd bet it's the Line Type Scale settings.
    Check the annotation scales, LTSCALE, and other related settings...
