aangle
Can not install any of the 3 updates for AA2009? Get the error," The service pack could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer. Make sure you are using the correct service pack for the product." I am using 64bit AA2009 on a VIsta machine and downloaded the service packs for 64 bit but get this error when trying to run any of them. One thing I am trying to fix is the SDI "0" which opens a new sessions of AutoCAD from explorer when in explorer even though the SDI is set to 0. I have found out at the office today that I get the same error on my 32bit XP machine here also.
ReMark
You have a couple of choices. First, you could contact your authorized reseller and inform them of the problem and request assistance. Second, if you are on subscription you can place a request for assistance via email. It seems most unusual to get the same error on two different computers using two different versions (32-bit and 64-bit) of AutoCAD. Although I don't like suggesting this, as it should always be used as a last resort, you might consider an uninstall and then a reinstall on one of the computers as a test. Zorg
I've had multiple problems installing updates to 64bit, im actually at the point now of uninstalling Vista64 and rebuilding. I don't know if its AutoDesks fault or micrososft but either way, the support just isn't up to scratch.
