qwerty
I have one file where I can't get grey hatches to stop overwriting lines and text. The others in our office have had a go at the problem too. We've tried all the usual fixes: draworder, xref order, wblock out to change display order, created a new DWG and put entities back in order... nothing works. Car5858
Are you using polyline (width=0) as a boundary?
qwerty
yes - pline and width 0.
Car5858
Normal style by adding ,N to the pattern name in the HPNAME system variable. See the help section for Hatch>other options.
qwerty
We tried that, no luck. It appears to be a bit of a bug.
CADMASTER1128
Are the hatchs in a Layer?
qwerty
The hatches are bylayer, colour 252. The outline pline is on another layer, colour 9.
CADMASTER1128
What are the layer properties?
qwerty
colour 254, continuous, linewt = default.
CADMASTER1128
I assume that the layer is turned on. This issue is you are unable to bring to the front - the drawing order basiclly. Would it be possible to send me a copy of the draw? That way I can try and see all settings of the drawing. And see if it is an AutoCAD issue.
