Ells
We received a drawing from AutoCAD 2010 and find it terrible to work with. I first opened it in 2007 and tried to export it to get rid of the AEC objects but got a message saying the drawing was created by a newer version and this command could not be done. Proxy graphics are displayed as rectangles and if they are exploded they vanish, (PROXYGRAPICS is set to 1 as well as PROXYSHOW). The sender of the drawing just got 2010 and said that the drawing was first created in 2004 but by opening it in 2010 and exporting it down made it so some things could not be seen, such as proxy graphics. What can I tell her to do so we can see the entities of the drawing? We are considering upgrading to 2010 but this has us scared off. NBC
sounds like you could do with some object enablers installed
Ells
sounds like you could do with some object enablers installed Thanks for the help. It turns out that the user of AutoCAD 2010 did not use the proper export function.
