relative offset

Hi,

Apologies if this question is too obvious or simple, but I have been trawling the help files in AC2004, and I can't find the answer;

How do you specify a point on a shape as a relative offset so that all the measurements on the shape are referenced from there i.e. the relative offset would show as coordinates 0.000,0.000,0.000? This is so that I can put in dimension lines relative to this point.

I've worked it out now thanks. Once I figured out the OSNAP it was plain sailing
