I want to know ...

Is it correct dimensional practice ? any thing wrong ?

What about the notation used for fastners ? any thing missed ? or is it standard ?

and finally, Is it understandable ?:)

I would tend to make the 14dia holes 15dia to suit the m12's especially if its a site fitted connection, and include double washers for both nut side and bolt head side. Im speaking from personal experiance in the installation of such steelwork.

Everything else seems to be fine.

I agreed with the hole dia, But what's the use of double washer ? some thing special :o.

Is there any standard notation for bolt and nut in shop drawing ?

Here is mine M12x45L HEX. HD. BOLT W/ NUT AND WASHER. Any suggetions ?

On my drawings, our shop note would probably say something along the lines of:

"2Nr M12x45Lg SET.SCREW 8.8 - N/W"

As for the double washer scenario. Its nothing special.

Basically washers on either side of the connecting materials.
