Geek Transition with Round Off Bottom

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Hie Guy,

Currently I'm was modeling a hopper but the transition I'm made was unable to subtract. I only can subtract either 2~3 corner and not 4. Please look for my attached dwg and hope someone can teach me how to solve this problem.

    Thanks you very much.

Currently I'm was using AutoCAD 2005.

You’re looking at a fairly complex procedure – certainly out of AutoCAD 2005’s comfort zone. In lieu of any “variable radius fillet” command, a elliptical cone could be used, along with a few Boolean operations, to mimic the functionality. Even with that convoluted process, however, the resulting model is less than ideal.

See attached with one corner setup as example.

    Seant,
Thanks for your reply. Well... since that AutoCAD 2005 was unable to do this. For this moments I have to choose give up on this model.
Will try it again once I'm free.
