I was using 2004lt and now I'm using 2007 what I've noticed is that in 2007 objects go into dashed lines when I hover over them which is new to me. I have created a titleblock with a logo and when I hover above it it takes ages before my cursor re-appears, because my logo in the titleblock has a hatch in it. is there any way of turning this highlighting of objects off? ReMark Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 Tools > Options > Selection > Visual Effect Settings. Under Selection Preview Affect click on the Advanced Options button. NBC Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 OR: You could just set the system variable SELECTIONPREVIEW to a value of your choice. A value of 0 would turn it off completely. A value of 1 would turn it on, but only when no commands are active. A value of 2 would turn it on, but only when a command asks for objects to be selected. A value of 3 would turn it on completely.
