I want to Rotate a view within a viewport in paperspace without changing the view rotation in model space. Is this possible?
Currently Using: AutoCAD 2010 and Civil 3D 2013 on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz 2.93 GHz with 8GB of RAM on WIN 7 Professional 64bit OS

You're entirely welcomed Dave.

DVIEW, TWist is another method although I prefer the UCS and PLAN commands.

I would tend to use MVSETUP to this, using the UCS option with the plan rotation is also an effective way but if its simply for a one off view you can avoid the need for creating a new UCS using MV.

Just an extra 10 seconds worth when you set your ucs also do a S (save) give it a name then you change any view at will Ucs R name Plan.
Jump back to world Ucs R World optional "plan"
Changing your model view makes drawing text easier we then jump back to world when doing true survey co-ords but dont necessarily do a "plan" hope that makes sense.
Also not limited to one ucs eg Road1 Road2 etc curvey road had 15 ucs's so would align best on sheets.
