Greg9876
Our company had a 2006 upgrade disk that went missing along with the original install disk. I now have a new computer and would like to transfer my license from the old computer. Can I download a trial version of 2006 and install the license from the old computer on the new computer with the trial version?
ReMark
You might give it a try and see what happens. What do you have to lose?

If not, just exactly how were you going to load a trial version and then "activate" it?
ReMark
"PLU is available only with multi-seat stand-alone deployments." Does this describe your situation?
Greg9876
I have a standalone locked license. I also figured that if I uploaded the trial software there would some how to license that trial version. As per the link that you provided it says "The PLU works only with standalone software-locked products that use Autodesk Product Activation technology." Tankman
You should probably contact AutoDesk and ask. Explain your problem and cry a bit.

ReMark
So where do you stand at the moment? What have you done, if anything, since your posts of August 13th?
ReMark
Have you tried calling your local authorized AutoDesk reseller?
alanjt
trial versions are no different from full version (minus the full version serial).
