Johnnyfive
I have recently "dumbed" down an xref by changing the colours of all layers to "8" - this is purely for clarity. I made the change using Layer Manager in the drawing the X-ref is in - I DID NOT change the drawing that is the X-ref. My question is, can I simply change the layers back to their associated colours within the actual drawing so they appear as the original (X-ref) drawing, possibly using Layer Manager? I know I can detach, purge, re-attach etc... but I really do not have the time as there are numerous X-ref's contained within the Master X-ref. Simple solutions???? Zorg
There's no simple way of doing it without detaching ect like you said.
Dipali
there is simply chnage the value of 'VISRETAIN' to '0' & just reload the xref files
