Data Link Problem-Table Wont Update New Blocks Drawn! But Updates if Blocks Deleted

Hi-- im going mad here:

I have a Data Link Problem-My BOM Table Wont Update New Blocks Drawn in model space by clicking the Update Table Data links!

But it Updates if Blocks are Deleted in model space by clicking the Update Table Data links.

Why does it work one way and not the other?

It could even be something stupid like extending the table in paper space (where my table of BOM is) - maybe by addingan extra row it is hidden because it hasen't been extended? I have no idea.

PLEASE HELP-- THE DATA EXTRACTOR LOOKS A GREAT TOL- I JUST NEED IT TO WORK-- THEN ILL GO ONTO THE EXCEL SPREAD SHEET UPDATE

Im guessing this is too hard of a question for the moderators or they do not have the knowledge- shame- this maybe a deciding factor if to buy the product or not...

dissapointed guys... if you cant answer then who can?! Hopefully your prove me wrong!

What software are you using?

I have never had success with datalinks in autocad - I gave up on them long ago...
