Eklips
Hi, I have a clue that I just can't solve. I have to update block attributes with data from a Database. I found pretty much I what I need to do so but one thing. How to delete existing attributes using VBA? All the tutorial that l've seen talk about how to create, modify, browse attributes but not how to delete then. If someone knows how to do so you. bsamc2000
Do you want to "blank out" the attribute or actually delete it from the block definition?
bigr1822
I am doing something very simular. I am not deleting the attr. I am changing the value in the attr. We have a DataBase that we call "TitleMan". We enter all the Title Block Info into the database. You then go to Autocad and select the Open-Macro I created, put in the part number, the drawing is created and the info from Titleman is put into the titleblock of the drawing. If you want to change any info on the drawing title block, you go the Titleman, make your change, then hit another macro button that just retrieves titleman info. After that, the drawing title block is now fill with the new info. I am not deleting anything though.Rodney
