Display error when publishing

Hi folks,

I looked thru this forum and found nothing that may resemble my problem. I use AutoCAD 2009 to plot a folder with drawings. It plots well and have no issues sending data to the printer.

However, when I return to the display to view drawings, it overlays drawings on top of each other. In fact, if I minimize Acad and look at another application, when I return to Acad the screen is all jumbled up with part of my drawing overlaying the app I came from. I can see the application's workspace and background inside the Acad model space window. My only recourse is to close and reopen Acad in a new session.

My GPU is an Intel GMA driver for notebooks and has no user settings.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I haven't udsed publish for long but from memory

check if 'background plot' is on in publish options dialoguebox. if nit switch it 'on' so it will not open the drawing but run publish in background

Hey, thanks for the reply.

In Acad 2009 you need to open all the drawings because it creates a publishing list from the opened dwgs. At least that's what I've found. But your idea of publishing in the background solved my problem.

Thanks again for the hint.

it does create the publising list from the drawings opened but you can add drawings that are not opened by clicking the little square in the top right with the plus sign
