    Default right click cancels command

Registered forum members do not see this ad.

So i was browsing through the tips and tricks sticky and was trying to use some of the suggestions and have come to find out after starting a command i cannot right click to bring up options (like osnaps and other stuff) instead it cancels me out of the command. Any ideas why or how to fix it?

edit: i attached a picture of what my right click customization looks like incase it helps

This still isn't working correctly for you? I have the same settings as you (I have not adjusted anything)

Have you tried to restart CAD or computer?

Get it set how you want it, then type (getvar "shortcutmenu") and place this in your startup: (setvar "shortcutmenu" #).
    #: number returned by getvar.

    Command: (getvar "shortcutmenu")
    18

    Command:
These are my settings. If I want the right-click menu to display, I just hold the right button down and it will display.

I matched my settings to yours and still no luck. I select on object start a command (move for instance) pick my basepoint right click to get snap options and it cancels my command and with the setting matching yours deletes the object that had been selected

Are you holding down, either the Control or Shift key when you right click for the snaps?

That's how you access the Osnap menu.
You are referring to this, right?
