On-Screen numeric keypad

Great Ideas

Does AutoCad have an on-screen numeric (and symbol) keypad? I would like to be able to mouse-click as many inputs as possible.

Never used it, but I remember stumbling across this one day surfing...

I was interested in the same type of thing when I started doing a lot of work with AutoCAD on a laptop. I created these Screen Menus for AutoCAD 2000 and have steadily migrated them up to my current 2009.

The left screen shows a typical accessor screen (in this case from the “Circle” menu). The middle screen was to allow numbers keyed in via mouse click. The right screen is for adding numbers with successive clicks. This made it easier to input 19 11/16, for instance.
