dbroada
I am sure you all know how to use publish, but I don't..... I have just received a drawing with 200+ layout tabs and I need to print all tabs off. How do I do that? It looks like publish is the way to go but I can't change the default printer to one that is on our system. Actually I can. I have a new named setup but I have to click each sheet in turn. I don't fancy doing that for so many sheets. An idiots step by step guide would be much appreciated.
ReMark
Look at some of the posts chelsea1307 has put up regarding Publish. She seems to have a lot of experience with this feature.
ReMark
Open the drawing. Click on the first layout tab, hold down the Shift button and then click on the last tab. Now right-click and select Publish selected Layouts. This should bring up the Publish dialog window. Under the heading "Publish to" you should be able to select your printer. Test this out maybe selecting only a total of three Layout tabs rather than all 200 and see if it works.
chulse
I have found this tool by CAB to be invaluable: http://www.theswamp.org/index.php?topic=8855.
dbroada
thanks for the replies, I never got around to trying it out as the engineer who wanted the prints has got somebody making PDF copies and will be printing them! He couldn't give me a couple of hours to sort it out but is prepared to let somebody else spend (going by current progress) half a week doing it. Oh well....
