    Question AutoLisp books

    I do not know if this is the correct place to post this, but here it is. What are some of the best books to get for learning AutoLisp?

    Sort of depends upon which version of Acad you are using. If you are using a Non-current version, do not buy the latest of anything, for may not have all commands you need to get job done available to you. I check out from local library a very old version as commands mentioned there tend to work on more modern systems still.

    Don't get newer than the system you are aiming for.

    Wm.

    Technically true, but there has been very little added to Autolisp since visual lisp was incorporated over 10 years ago.

    Do you have Half Price Books there in Atlanta?

    Check them out for older CAD books at reasonable prices.
