ReMark
You can make AutoCAD default to the acadiso3D.dwt when opening a new drawing simply by doing the following. Tools > Options > Display tab. Click on the Colors button. At the next window select either 3D parallel projection or 3D prespective projection. Click on the Apply & Close button. Finally, click on the OK button. Open a new drawing and notice what AutoCAD now defaults to. After thinking about this I'm not 100% sure it's going to work. Please let me know one way or the other. I need to think on it a bit more.

ReMark
I got the impression you wanted to set this environment as your standard for every new drawing. Not so I see.
