Stiff
Hello everybody, I've downloaded the 2010 AutoCAD trial and changed the linetype of a line to a dashed one, though the line remains continious. I normally use AutoCAD 2007 and it always worked perfectly in that version. I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything wrong in 2010, it should be as simple as choosing another linetype. Could anyone help me?
rkmcswain
Nothing has changed with regard to what you are doing. Most likely, the global linetype scale needs to be adjusted. The OOTB "dashed" linetype for example is defined as a line segment of "0.5 units" and a space of "0.25 units". So if your line is 40,000 units long, the dashes will be so short, you won't see them. With LTSCALE set to 1, draw a line 4 units long and assign it the "DASHED" linetype. What does it look like now?l (Make sure CELTSCALE = 1.0 also)
