Does anyone have any idea how I can covert or import a jpeg image to DWG file using autocad 2008?

Is there any other way to do this.

If you mean taking an image (i.e. raster file) and turning it into a vector file (i.e. lines, arcs, etc) then you would need AutoDesk's Raster Design software. It does a great job but as with any software there is a small learning curve. It is quite easy to learn though.

The quality of a JPEG image is suspect, but can tell you how I cheated.

I opened up a whole new blank drawing. I imported the JPEG image into there.

The opened up the parent drawing and XREF'd the image drawing on in. Then moved it into position etc.

Got out of parent drawing and at original location for JPEG I then resized it and rotated it.

Then after the need and deed was done, it got bleeped out via the XREF command. When on applicable layer and began adding text then.

One way to cheat here is to introduce Adobe Photoshop, and rotate or alter the JPEG image therein. Just place new image into most recent image drawing file, as old name and keep going.
